Favorite Farmhouse Bathroom Ideas

Are you thinking of renovating your bathroom? We love the farmhouse theme and that’s why you’ll find tons of inspiration here for farmhouse bathroom ideas! A farmhouse interior design is warm and welcoming with white being a dominant color that’s often livened up with wood elements and green touches. Shiplap(horizontal or vertical siding), natural textures such as cotton or linen, and natural light are common characteristics.

Porch Dreaming: Creating an Inviting Spring and Summer Front Porch

A porch is a welcome and relaxing place to unwind and gather with friends and family on those lovely warm spring and summer days. To me, having a porch is almost like a having a certain lifestyle. One where life is lived more slowly. Where neighbours visit more freely. It’s creating a space that engages with the neighborhood and helps build community. Here are some inspirational and inviting front porch ideas including porch decorating, porch swing ideas, porch signs, porch quotes, front porch design, and farmhouse front porch ideas to enjoy and extend your outdoor time. Life is better on the porch!

With each change of season I love to add some seasonal touches around our home. For me, spring is about making my home feel light, bright and fresh. Some easy spring home decor ideas I like to use are pops of color, whether it be soft pastels or something brighter. For the kitchen, here are some ways to do that:

Cherry blossoms in the spring. If you’re fortunate enough to live in an area where you can get fresh, how wonderful! Faux is beautiful as well and if you mix both faux and real together, it can be hard to tell which is which.

The Top Teen Girl Room Ideas that She’ll Love

Are you looking for how to create the perfect teen girl bedroom? Having two teen daughters gives me some insider information for room must-haves. These are ideas they both like, and incorporate into their rooms, even though they differ in their decorating tastes. No one fits into a one-style-fits all solution and teens want to feel like they are being listened to when it comes to how they want to decorate their rooms. Their room is a reflection of themselves and is an important place for them to display their personal style and to enjoy that space.

Spring Home Decor Ideas

Spring is such a beautiful season! The earth is waking up in warmth and color once more. Here are some spring home decor ideas to help celebrate the season and bring the beauty of spring indoors.🌷

A spring fireplace mantle:

I wanted a big splash of color on the wall after a long cold white winter. The wall print of poppies is by Annelein Beukenkamp. Fresh flowers are always inviting, especially spring flowers such as tulips.

Sweet little bird ornaments, moss and a pussy willow branch are truly symbolic of the sights and sounds of spring.

Willow branches in bloom, eggs in a bird’s nest and fresh tulips~all signs of new life and spring on the earth brought indoors.

An easily made ‘Welcome Spring’ chalkboard sign can be interchanged with various holidays.

The moss, flower containers and chalkboard sign were found at a Dollar store.

I pruned branches from a few flowering trees in my yard and forced them to bloom to add to the spring decor.

The pussy willows atop the fireplace mantle are a mixture of both real and faux.
