Christmas Nail Hacks

Here are some Christmas nail hacks to have your Christmas nail art looking beautiful.

1. When applying a top coat, run the brush along the top edge (non-cuticle side) of the nail. This will seal in the raw edge of the polish to prevent chipping.

2. If your French mani still doesn’t come out perfectly the way you want it, there’s an easy way to hide you’re your mistakes without the frustration of having to start all over again. Get yourself a glitter pen from any stationery or craft shop and draw a line where the white meets the pink. Detailed instructions here.

3. Draw, don’t paint. While you can get some awesome nail art tools to make the drawing a bit easier, you can actually bypass all the fuss by using a good old sharpie! As long as you finish it off with a good top coat, the picture or pattern will stay put. Detailed instructions here.

Best DIY Holiday Gift Wrapping Ideas

Getting a beautifully wrapped gift is a pleasure and a gift in itself. A thoughtfully wrapped gift is a form of art and shows the receiver the love that has gone into it. Here are some best diy beautiful, creative or simple Christmas gift wrapping ideas for the holidays, birthdays or special events. For Christmas, I like to pick a theme for my gift wrapping, such as neutral with bright pops of color.

These gifts, wrapped with Kraft paper (or sometimes called “butcher” paper) come in brown or white and can be purchased in places like Walmart, The UPS store, Michaels, Target and online. The mini wreaths on top add beautiful pops of interest and color.

Add seasonally natural gift toppers and then for some extra detailing, draw some Christmas designs on the kraft paper.

Adding an oversized letter of the first initial of the gift recipient is a creative idea instead of a gift tag.
