This chicken spinach wrap is a healthy recipe loaded with protein, fresh vegetables, healthy carbs and healthy fats. It is delicious, satisfying, and quick to make.
This chicken spinach wrap also makes a great work lunch idea as wraps are super portable, and can be prepped and made to go in 10 minutes. To make it even easier, I just use leftover rotisserie chicken from the local deli.

Easy Healthy Lunch Idea : Chicken Spinach Wrap Ingredients:
Serves 1
Prep time:10 minutes
1-100% whole wheat soft tortilla
1/8 cup red onion, sliced thin
1/4 cup cheddar cheese
1/2 avocado, sliced
1/4 cup cooked chicken, shredded
1 cup (packed) baby spinach
2 tsp mayonnaise
Salt and pepper to taste
1 tsp mustard of your choice

Instructions
1. Spread the mayo down the center of the wrap and add the mustard. Add the rest of the ingredients down the center of the wrap and then fold the sides of the tortilla that are at the ENDS of the filling first.
2. Then tightly roll up one side of the tortilla, that runs the length of the filling, pushing in the filling as you roll. I find the wrap stays together the best that way. Slice in half and enjoy!

I keep the chicken cold for this wrap but if you wanted to you could heat the chicken at the time you make your wrap, as long as you’ll be eating your wrap at that time. Remember food safety when it comes to keeping hot things hot and cold things cold.
Hot things need to stay hot (above 140°F) and cold foods need to stay cold (below 40°F). When foods are held between 40 and 140°F, bacteria can grow rapidly to levels that can cause you to get sick. This temperature range is called the “danger zone” and should be avoided.
