Christmas is a time for tradition and for many homes, that includes certain classic desserts. Desserts like Christmas pudding, English trifles, rum balls, Christmas cakes such as a Yule log, fruit cake, and sticky toffee pudding are popular.
Easy Best Christmas Dessert Recipes to Try
Some of our favorite and easy Christmas dessert recipes that are both adult and child approved are peppermint bark, gingerbread ice cream cookie sandwiches and popcorn balls. Peppermint bark only requires three ingredients- chocolate, peppermint extract and crushed candy canes.
The Gingerbread ice cream cookie sandwich is a treat that only requires two ingredients – gingerbread cookies and your preferred ice cream flavor. Place the ice cream between 2 gingerbread cookies, and you’re good to go. You can either buy store bought cookies or make your own with the recipe below.
Popcorn balls are a childhood Favorite! They are a fun and delicious way to celebrate the season. You can dress them up with sprinkles and holiday colors.
How can I make Healthy Christmas Dessert Recipes?
There are lots of healthy Christmas dessert ideas out there! Some healthier Christmas desserts are fruit, whether you make fruit kabobs or a fruit salad, or serve fruit with cheese.
