With shorter days, crisp mornings and the leaves starting to change color, there’s no doubt fall is almost upon us. And with that comes thoughts of fall decorating. I decided to go with a lot of pumpkin decor this year. Here are some fall decorating ideas with my colorful fall mantle decor.
This year I’ve gone very colourful with my fall decor ideas. I wanted to add some rich colors to my family room, lots of orange and red. Decorating my mantle is one of my favourite things to do with each season. My daughter grew her first pumpkin patch and so I got to use some of the fruits of her labor from that. I wanted to incorporate lots of golden yellows, gorgeous spicy oranges, and natural elements.

My sister painted the painting and I love the vibrant colors in it, and how the pumpkins within the painting tie in so well with the real pumpkins on the mantel.

I used a combination of natural corn and wheat stalks with faux foliage, together with the rustic look from the burlap and I love how it all looks together. The burlap came from the Dollar store.

The candles add a warm cozy glow at night.

The faux cattails tie in well with the natural cornstalks.

The ‘Thankful’ sign I purchased at Michaels, and I love the rustic look it adds.
